The Master of Agriculture (MAgr) degree is designed for a student who wants professional graduate training with a management orientation in agriculture, food, and natural resources. The Department of Food Science and Technology at Texas A&M University is no longer accepting applications for the non-thesis Master of Agriculture (MAG) in Food Science and Technology.
To meet the evolving demands of the food industry and the growing need for flexible, career-focused education, we are excited to announce the launch of the 100% online Master of Food Technology and Leadership (MFT) program, starting Fall 2026.
The curriculum will cover key areas such as food processing, food safety, food regulations, and leadership and management skills essential for the food industry.
This innovative, non-thesis program will offer:
- Cutting-edge food technology training
- Practical leadership and management skills
- A flexible online format designed for working professionals
