FSTC's Cyprian Syeunda, receives the 2024 Excellence in Leadership Award for Graduate Students.

The Excellence in Leadership Award recognizes two student members of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), one undergraduate and one graduate student, who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in their execution of student activities that furthers the mission of IFT.

The award will be presented at the IFTSA Closing Ceremony on Tuesday, July 16 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - IFT First Theater.

Ana Nava, received third prize for her oral presentation in the IFT Nutraceutical & Functional Foods Division (NFFD) for her talk on Dark Sweet Cherry (DSC) Extracts Rich In Anthocyanins (ACN) Decrease Drug Resistance in 4T1 Breast Cancer (BC) Cells Through Modulation of Phase III Drug Transporters.
