Texas A&M Food Science Students Shine at IFT FIRST 2025 in Chicago

Students, faculty, and staff from the Texas A&M Department of Food Science and Technology recently attended the IFT FIRST Expo & Conference 2025, held at McCormick Place in Chicago. This annual event, hosted by the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), brings together food industry leaders, researchers, and students from across the globe to explore the latest advancements in food science, technology, and innovation.
Throughout the event, Texas A&M students were actively engaged in a variety of professional development opportunities. Several students presented their research posters, showcasing their innovative projects and gaining valuable feedback from industry experts. Others attended technical sessions and innovation workshops, where they learned about emerging trends and challenges in the global food system.
