UPDATE:

The TAMU Food Science Department Reception in Chicago on July 15, 2024, sponsored by IFANCA, was a resounding success.

The event saw a great turnout, including students, alumni, faculty, and industry members. Dr. Awika, the FSTC Department Head, warmly welcomed everyone, providing a brief update on the department's progress and announcing his own departure from A&M. Dr. Chaudry, president of IFANCA, along with alumni members, Kyle Brock from the TAMU Foundation and students spoke briefly and mingled. The evening was filled with engaging discussions and delightful food, making it a memorable occasion.
