BOB LONGAN FUND FOR EXCELLENCE IN FOOD TECHNOLOGY
In memory of Bob Longan and his longtime career in the Food Science Industry, the Bob Longan Fund for Excellence in Food Technology was established by Frito Lay and PepsiCo Inc. and friends of Bob Longan. This endowment recognizes excellence and leadership in the Food Science and Technology Program.

PROFESSOR EDWARD “ED” EUGENE BURNS, Ph.D. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Dr. Wai-Kit Nip ’65 and John Dale ’65, Judy Dale, Tiffany Dale ’90, Jason Dale, and Jared Dale donated to the Professor Edward “Ed” Eugene Burns Ph.D. Memorial Scholarship in memory of Texas A&M Professor Dr. Edward Eugene Burns.  Throughout his career, Dr. Burns authored over one hundred scientific articles and developed the foods program of the manned spacecraft efforts of NASA throughout the Apollo flights. This scholarship honors full time students in good standing pursuing a degree in the Department of Food Science and Technology.

The Blue Bell Creameries/Kruse family scholarships were generously donated in recognition of the Kruse’s commitment to higher education and their love for Texas A&M University. REVOLVER BREWING EDUCATION ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP
The Revolver Brewing Education Endowed Scholarship supports full time sophomores or juniors in good standing pursuing an undergraduate degree in Food Science & Technology form Texas A&M University. The recipients of this scholarship have expressed interest in brewing science or fermentation. Molson Coors donated funds for this scholarship as part of its social justice initiative to support organizations focused on social justice, community building, equality, and empowerment. The scholarship’s objective is to alleviate financial, racial, gender, and social-background barriers so more students can further their careers with a company like Revolver Brewing or its parent company, Molson Coors Beverage Company.
